-Addictions- We all have them.

Those little things inside us we face everyday. From the tiniest of fights to the toughest of battles, we all have these urges or these triggers that we have to ward off. These fears, desires, judgements, expectations, all the things we can't seem to just shut off. There's slip ups, set backs and road blocks we run into. Every single day. Every, single one of us. One man's battle is not like another's. One thing is for sure though, we all have something. Something small or big that keeps us from being the best version of ourselves. The best US we can be. Something inside us we may not even realize is there.

But, there was a man who came to show us, there in fact is a way to conquer these wages of war coming against us. He came, He taught, He showed the way. And now, all we have to do, is let Him lead. The battles push on. The battles of the mind. The battles for the soul. The fight of an addiction. The fears of the unknown, the what-ifs, they hold us back. The triggers can set us off. Every Single Day. But, right now, we can break these chains. We can make the change. And we CAN take little steps to find our way to peace. But we can NOT do it alone. There is only ONE who is strong enough to get us out of the mess we keep getting ourselves into. And He will ALWAYS be there, no matter how many times we screw up. There is one who shows us the way, the truth and TO the light. And that is Jesus. Today, I pray: In taking this step to move forward, we can break the chains of our addictions and all become a little bit better in every moment we push on. Because, although a moment may seem like nothing, each one leads to another. And in this moment we can all start looking forward to the next. We can have that hope that even if we slip up or find ourselves in a set back, we can KEEP pushing forward, get better and break the chains for good. Today, no matter what time of the day it is, say no to those addictions, fight those urges, mend those broken pieces and just keep pushing forward. One moment at a time. In Jesus' name. Amen
