Get wisdom, Get understanding

A profoundly bold message came to me today as I re-read some scripture I heard yesterday and I can fully say it was truly a work from God, through His people. A message from a friend, a daily reading from the Bible. His wisdom enlightens our souls, it fuels the fire deep inside our hearts. It drives us to want to learn, to understand His purpose of life itself.

"The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdom;

whatever else you get, get understanding."

Proverbs 4:7

Sandwiched between God's love filled word, we can find these moments of grace. Where He reminds us, we are on the right track. As we invest our hearts and time in Him, He continues to show us, keep gaining wisdom through all you do and He will take all you have gone through and provide to you how He uses every last bit for the good.

This year has been a challenging one to say the least. But as I continue to stay focused on His word when I can, the light is getting brighter as to why things happen the way they do. Our journey through life requires these experiences, these highs and lows. We go through so many questionable events, things that may seem necessary or normal. Or events that may be painful, seem never-ending. We find ourselves wondering why? We start questioning the purpose. Sometimes the answers don't reveal themselves until long after the moments have past. Sometimes we get it right away! Sometimes our fight, our fire, has been lost, our trust in the world has overcome our ability to see clearly, and things just continue to play out. And at times His timing for us to see is not just yet. Whatever the reason may be... experiences continue to happen. And He patiently waits as they play out.

And then, in His time, if we allow it...

His grace is UNLEASHED!

He provides to us all the knowledge we need to understand truth, to understand His reasonings, to receive and embrace His grace, His "crown of jewels" we need to fully feel His love.

In the most powerful way,

His grace IS bestowed upon us.

As we walk, run or even just crawl through the experiences of life, we must embrace them all. We must let Him use them all. We mustn't allow any of it to be wasted.

Dear Lord,

I pray today I can keep the faith, that strength needed, to trust You will enlighten me with Your wisdom in just the time You need it to come. I fight HARD trying to understand all life has to brought to the table. In my worldly ways, I find myself craving immediate understanding. But Oh Lord, I see now You have a purpose for it all. Help me trust and keep that faith in You along the way. And know that in the time You need it, I will be enlightened by Your wisdom and filled with Your grace, so that everything makes sense in the time it needs to. Lord, help me stay focused on You, and trust that Your "crown of jewels," the diadem you have to give, is the wisdom of grace to be bestowed deep into my heart in just the time You need it to be. Help me stay focused on You, Oh Lord.
