-He comes to save souls-
I had this revelation this morning as I was out walking. Selfishly I found myself for the ump-teenth time praying for God to give me His ears so that I may hear, His eyes so that I may see, His strength so that I may endure this world I am living in. Like, if I could just be as incredible as our creator to have life all figured out, I could maybe, just maybe, get through another day. Psssht. As if.
It's been a rough go in 2020 for, well, basically all of us. And the reminder that hit me that even though it seems like our world is falling apart & we aren't too fond of all that's happening, we need to keep on working towards that one goal. Peace for an eternity in Heaven.
When we set our eyes on His love & work at life with the realization of letting Him down, how deeply that truly matters more than ANYTHING else on this planet, everyone that surrounds us can receive His love through us. Because He see's it all. All our ugly, all our good. He wants to see us through it, use it, help us pass it on.

Comfort is merely just vanity when we gain no wisdom from it. We have so much we are all struggling with, reasonably so. No one deserves that pain, those worries, those fears. Christ came to relieve us from it all. So we strive to love & support eachother in the darkest of times. We continue to learn so we can grow. But while we suffer, while we bare that cross (which is no where NEAR as horrific as Jesus himself bore for our sins) never forget, God sees it all. He's with you & He's ready to keep you focused on Him. He's always finding ways to show up, to lead us out of the storms, to save us from the deepest darkest of places. We just have to repent & turn to Him to lead. And hey, sometimes, when we are feeling a little uncomfortable dealing with the crap this world is throwing at us, just think, maybe, just maybe, it's not about us, but this time someone else's soul may be finding it's way through the wilderness. How awesome.
God gave us these amazing so wonderfully made bodies. How truly awesome they are. We have the crazy ability to take care of these vessels while we live here. He has the power to save our souls for an eternity.
