Lord, Help me hear your voice

LUKE CHAPTER 16

Did you ever play the game telephone as a child? Someone starts with a message and by the time it gets to the last person, it's hilarious to hear how it gets all jumbled up.

This seems to be the case in our world today. And even though the message has been clear for 2000 years, it's slowly being broken up and torn apart to appeal to us.

We can't let all the things of this world taunt us, so much so, that we have closed our ears and hearts to what we need to hear or see. The message from the prophets was sent to heal our souls and save our hearts. The message is the truest form of love we all have the right to receive.

The rich man got caught up in his ways. He missed many opportunities to help others due to getting trapped in the awesome feeling of fulfillment to the desires of his own flesh.

Lazarus, suffering beneath him, was ignored time and time again as the rich man carried on about his life, happy as a lark. When the time came that they both perished from this world, one was saved and raised, one sent to suffer. The rich man was found begging, even if his soul would spend an eternity suffering, that his brothers and family be forewarned and saved. If someone could do that, that'd be great!😕 In return Abraham tells him, if they aren't already listening, there's not a whole lot that can be done.🤷‍♂️

Today I pray,

not only for those who have found the Lord, but also, those who have yet to understand his ways, that we ALL can open our hearts as wide as possible, so that we can hear the message from our elders LOUD and CLEAR. That the message sent to save us, will do just that. I pray that it can save us ALL.
