Pay Attention and PRAY!

This passage has been on my mind for awhile now. It just keeps running through my head, as I watch what's happening across our world.

And today.

My heart sank as I saw it on paper this morning.

Truth be told.

I am terrified for our world right now. We have allowed oursleves to fall short. Time and time again. We get caught up in doing all the things that allow us to feel better, leading us farther and farther away from the truth. We justify. We condemn. We judge. We try to twist and blot out wrongs to make ourselves feel like we are the one's who know all the rights.

We have gotten so mixed up in matters that are serioulsy so small that we are missing the whole point. We are being blinded. Distracted. And persuaded to turn against each other. We are being duped!

I have sat back and watched it play out these past 6 months, mostly keeping to myself about it, because I struggle with hurting others or being offensive. Anything that may be the cause of any division, I strive to avoid. But inside, my heart has been feeling such immense pain as I see the lines being drawn. Friends are attacking each other. Families becoming divided. And all the while, the only thing I keep thinking is God's will be done. It is out of my hands.

As Jesus knelt in the garden of Gethsemane, sweat dripping so heavy down his face, He says in agony...

"Not my will, but yours be done."

I can't say that my pain has been that immense. I don't think anyone knows that pain. But right now, my heart is absolutely breaking.

I can feel it so deep.

I have witnessed it.

I have dealt with it.

We are being divided.

We are in a spiritual battle, one that is attacking our very souls.

Evil is after our hearts.

If we do anything, ANYTHING at all right now.

We must step aside and pray.

Pray for truth.

Pray for GOD'S wisdom.

And pray to see clearly that we may stay aligned, not with our own desires or own will, but with God's.

Focus on where you are right now.

Are you struggling? Are you fighting against something that seems so big?

Do you feel like you are in a battle you can't win?

Do you see the stress, confusion, division?

Pray!!!!!

And I don't mean pray that the Lord will make us feel better.

Pray that He will heal our land!

Pray like you have never prayed before.

Go to scripture.

Find the TRUTH.

Pray for God's wisdom.

Repent.

Ask for forgiveness.

And turn to Him for answers.

Day after day, I am reading this timeline of events in God's word and then seeing it all play out.

Today, I knew, it was time to share.

We are being provided many chances to find our way out, to turn to Him and let Him lead.

The time has come.

Jesus show us the way.

Jesus teach us your truth.

Jesus be the light we need in this darkness.

You are our only hope.

The time has come.

We must pay attention.

We must Pray.
