To my babies, with love

My purpose is you

To you, my children.

The Lord knew I needed each of you.

And He knew each of you would need me too. He knew, one by one, our lives would be turned into a story, a beautiful and messy chain of events, that would make us each who we are, and lead us where we need to be.

One day, I hope to detail each of your stories for you, if the Lord allows me that time.

But for now I give you this.

A message passed down from generation to generation.

One, I hope you will carry on to.

To my babies, with love:

Things have not always been easy. And I have fought with that since the beginning of your time. Our family has gone through so much, but yet, the Lord continues to provide.

I have seen joy, I have seen pain. I have seen pain turned into joy.

And to think of how much has come from that first announcement of, "IT'S A BOY!"

I have watched you all suffer in ways I never imagined I'd have to see.

I have seen you laugh at times I never knew could be so funny.

I have learned more from each of you, sometimes far after the moments had passed.

Oh how many days I have wished that they would longer last.

I have held each of you, when times were rough, and each of you has held me too.

It's the way we have, the way I was taught, and a way I hope you will always do.

The lessons we learn, the moments we live, the challenges we have and will continue to face, the highs, the lows: that's what has made us ---> Us, so never forget their place.

My children.

In this life, if there is anything I can give you, It is this.

The Lord is always on your side.

In the pain. He will comfort you.

In the battles. He will use them for the good.

In the joy. His light will shine the brightest.

Through it all: your heart will know His love.

You will face many days that will challenge all these things. But never, ever let your hope despair and always keep that faith in Him.

And most importantly, Always, Always Love.

You will wonder many days what your purpose is.

Just remember this...

Through it all, whatever or wherever you find your purpose to be, continue to grow in love.

Each event and every moment you live in, let them lead you to love.

Love stronger, love deeper, love truer and bolder.

And in doing just that you will have all the wisdom you need for the days you are given ahead.

God is love. And in the end, love is all you will ever need.
