Luke Chapter 8
"Where's your Faith"
It's been a hectic few days. Tis the season for Jesus, right? But in our world today, tis also the season for all the crazy. In the season of giving life can become so chaotic that we find ourselves frantically trying to fill in all those spaces under the tree. The busyness of it all can really rob of us what the season is truly all about.
In Luke Chapter 8:25, Jesus asks his disciples, Where's your faith? And through this entire chapter we are reminded of how easily it can be when life gets crazy to loose sight of just that. From the different ways seeds are sown, to the saving of the men at sea, to the man and woman both who are healed by Jesus himself. Jesus reminds us, "KEEP YOUR FAITH ALIVE"
This advent I pray, that as we near the celebration of Christ's coming itself, that we can keep focus on the real task at hand. Keeping the Faith through all the crazy. And to do this, I must remember to make time in some way for Jesus himself each and every day. Even if I fall asleep doing it.
